STYLE ON THE FRINGE

OF FANTASTIC.

Fringe is everywhere this Winter. It adds character and depth to an otherwise simple sweater or bag or skirt. It penetrated the runways like a bat out of hell and isn't going anywhere fast. It encompasses the hippie chic in all of us and leaves zero room for the meek. If you're cool, you won't skirt around the fringe trend. You'll be fringe-glamtastic.

INCA RILEY FRINGE BIKINI, $225 AT SHOPBOP

PRADA FRINGE TOTE BAG
I OWN IT AND AM OBSESSED.
AVAILABLE AT NORDSTROM BY ORDER.

The fringe trend applies from your head to your toes, so don't be shy. You can even add to your personal coiffure with a touch of fringe bangs. Yep. Very cool and very now.

A hip LBD with some fringe and sparkle is so chic and edgy at the same time. Pair it with some rock n' roll booties and hipster, embellished tights and you're all set.

HAUTE HIPPIE FRINGE DRESS, $416.50 AT SHOPBOP
Tie a multi-print silk scarf with fringe around your neck for some added mot du jour. Emilio Pucci perfected this look for Spring 2011. I like the interest this scarf brings to the average outfit.
EMILIO PUCCI FRINGE SCARF, $760 AT NETAPORTER
FRINGE SWEATER, $99.99 AT URBAN OUTFITTERS
There's no reason to play things safe with this trend. The more fringe, the better. Of course, if you're wearing a fringe-tastic sweater, skip the fringe bag, etc... one trend per clothing item/accessory, darling. Now, go have fun.
