Here's the thing about accessories: they should have soul. We're not saying you need to start rocking vials of blood around your neck a la Angelina Jolie (see: nasty) but that the finishing touches you add to your outfits should be more than bling and blang. When it comes to an accessory, don't put it on unless it stands alone. 

We first discovered Jessica Feinsmith in San Francisco a few years ago, falling in love with her Heirloom rings made from repurposed old jewelry and sustainable carved wood - sold at Five and Diamond on Valencia. We've seen a lot of recycled jewelry in our day, but rarely does a designer combine architectural beauty and sustainable design so seamlessly.
