INFLUX OF fLuXuS...

AND ME LIKEY.

FLUXUS CREATOR, JEFFREY SEBELIA
There are many things that bring me joy in life, but nothing quite compares to discovering edgy, fashion-forward collections led by indie designers. It's sort of like finding a pin in a haystack, but it does happen. To make it in fashion, you have to create something unusual and something dynamic and something wearable. Very difficult indeed. That's why Jeffrey Sebelia, Project Runway Season 3 winner, is sort of like a mythical creature. You might remember him for his lanky stature and tatooed neck. Sebelia was known as the "bady boy" on Project Runway, but boy has made good and debuted a collection that sets the stage on fire with Fluxus. Fluxus, originally founded in Los Angeles by Martin Paquette, literally means "to flow" and was created with a mission of combining art with fashion, simplifying style so that it encompasses all things creative.

Fluxus, spelled fLuXuS (far too tedious to re-write over and over here), screams casual sophistication. Throw a basic Fluxus layering tank or jersey dress on and pile on with vests, scarves, accessories to complete a street-style look of perfection. Featured on Oprah, Fluxus Nomad scarves are so stretchy and ginormously cozy, you can wrap them several times around your neck, wear them as a shawl or throw them around your legs mid-flight as a warm blanket. So versatile are his clothes, you'll want to replace all of your basics with Sebelia's collection. Even more incredible, he uses super-soft natural fibers and materials.
