TURKEY CHIC -

NO, I'M NOT KIDDING.

That's right, folks, Thanksgiving isn't just a holiday for gorging turkey legs and stuffing with gizzards (why oh why do the gizzards have to be included?). No, it's also a time to show off your stylistic prowess. You haven't seen Aunt Zelda in a whole year. Show her you still care by putting a little thought into your attire this year - she might even let you pass on the canned cranberry sauce. This season leaves us with a plethora of trend options. Fur, feathers, leather, velvet and tights, it doesn't matter what you choose because they're all perfect for sitting pretty in front of a fire, sipping a gigantic glass of bordeaux. Here are some of my favorite turkey chic looks.

GIAMBATTISTA VALLI FEATHER AND LACE BROCADE DRESS WITH ORGANZA SHAWL
PERFECT FOR A THANKSGIVING DINNER OUT ON THE TOWN.

HAUTE HIPPIE HOLIDAY WEAR, 2010
LOVING THE FOREST GREEN BELTED DRESS. TRY ANY OF THEIR FALL/WINTER LOOKS, HOWEVER. PERFECT HOLIDAY BOHO CHIC.

SHEER SILK EMBELLISHED JUMPSUIT, $160 AT TOPSHOP
PERFECT WITH A FUR HOODED JACKET (MADAM BUTTERFLY HAS ONE THAT'S TO DIE FOR)

GET COZY IN A TUNIC DRESS, CAPELET AND LACE STOCKINGS.
TRINA TURK HAS THIS CAPE FOR $249.20

Step it up this holiday and show your family and friends that you've got it going on... and not just in a pie eating contest kind of way. Happy Thanksgiving!
