IT'S TIME TO STICK YOUR NECK OUT

Turtle time with Mr. Redford.

The Gossip boy rocking the look layered, a great alternative to a button up.

CAUSE IT LOOKS LIKE THEM TURTLES WERE ON TO SOMETHING

It's freezing outside. Plain and simple - if you're like me, the thought of leaving your coveted spot in front of the fire in favor of a night out on the town seems laughable at best. Every now and then however, we have to leave our hermit cave and brace the cold. My secret weapon this season has been a little friend I like to call the turtleneck. They come in all shapes and sizes. You can go thin and snug for that collegiate naughty professor look or find a chunky cable knit and do more of a mountain man goes sophisticated thing. No matter what you do, the turtleneck is flattering on everyone. It elongates your neck which is always a good thing, especially if your waddle(that little flap of skin under the chin) gives your thanksgiving turkey a run for it's money. Not only does it look good, but it keeps you warm and layers perfectly well with coats, jackets, scarves and even other sweaters. Some good options below, but don't feel like you need to spend a million dollars. Gap and Beneton among many others offer some great versions on the cheap.
