EVIL EYE IS ON YOU:

SO DON'T CROSS ME.

My Greek friends have tried explaining to me the meaning of the "evil eye" many, many times. I've been told that the evil eye protects one from the glare of an envious and sometimes evil person. These people can often be friends and/or family. Evil indeed, right? Right. Is it wrong that I want to now wear an evil eye everyday to ward off suspicious behavior? So what if I'm reading a bit too much into the mailman's prolonged, judging stare. It couldn't be because my dog and three children run to the door frantically half dressed and covered in crayola paint, could it? No.

Thankfully, we are all safe as the evil eye has been making its presence known in fashion, particularly jewelry. One of my favorite evil eye pieces can be found at Madam Butterfly, silver and delicately lined in diamonds. To die for. Below are my favorite pieces.
