Down vests are back this season as a great fall alternative to a traditional jacket or sweater. It's a casual look that is comfortable and fun and will have you feeling totally McFly. For bigger guys, look for an understuffed version (thinner and more closely quilted) and also in more neutral colors like grays and blacks. I DO NOT support the ultra bright and big hip hop inspired versions in neon colors. You will wind up looking like a 12 year old version of Malibu's Most Wanted. Big Nope. Keep it classic and outdoorsman inspired. See below for some cool options.
