CLOZLINE IS VINTAGE, PERFECTED.
My high school friends' mother has always been an impeccable seamstress. She has been whipping up all sorts of delicious and original designs since her daughters and son can remember. It was not until recently, however, that I discovered she had started a children's collection and one that giggles of nostalgia. Ronie Saake's label, Clozline, consists of vintage and heirloom handmade children's clothing. How can you not be curious? This line is reminiscent of Camelot, people. Peter Pan collars and suspenders, cuffed sailor slacks, pinafores (!) and butterfly-collared, smocked sundresses with hand-sewn applique, Clozline is unlike anything I've seen in a while and perfect for special occasions (although I'd love to dress my children like this everyday). She will custom make any item-- think children's holiday wear-- and she's local! Check her out and don't miss her show in October.
