OUR DAUGHTERS...

THEY'RE HAVING A REVOLUTION.

And they're definitely winning... Let's just say the clothing line, Daughters of the Revolution, provides a collective army of fashion fantastic with every new battle... ahem, collection. A family-owned business, DAR's founder/owner, Emily Cadenhead, has taken fashion designing to environmentally new heights by using recyclable materials and using eco-friendly techniques. I don't know about you, but that makes it so much easier to justify a purchase or two... and we're not talking about brown gauze peasant skirts either. No, DAR is known for their boheimian-urban (albeit a bit gypsy) maxi dresses and beautiful bell-sleeved blouses, but Cadenhead has been known to surprise with an occasional pant in sequins, too.

DAR SEQUIN LEGGINGS, $125 BUY HERE

A little bit fairytale with an international commonality running through it, DAR is versatile, ethereal, feminine and worth every penny. I promise.

SIENNA DRESS, AUTUMN NIGHT, $364 BUY HERE
I like to think of DAR as my go-to brand for all things hippie chic, but with that edgy imperfection I strive for everyday. So hard to resist a maxi dress with lace and hardware or a jumpsuit made of chiffon (!).

DAR RED AZTEC BUTTERFLY DRESS, $215 BUY HERE
DAR CHIFFON JUMPSUIT, $105 BUY HERE

DAR GREEN TEA GARDEN PARTY, $225 BUY HERE
Give DAR a try, if you haven't already. They haven't quite made it to Sacramento yet, but you can find them online or at the stores listed here on DAR. Let's get them carried here, too, shall we? I'll help lead the revolution ;)
