THE OTHER ROYAL WEDDING

THE PHOTOS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES

With all the hooplah surrounding Wills and Kate, another royal wedding just concluded a week of celebration in India marking the largest gathering of Maharajas since India's Independence (1947). I am a sucker for an Indian wedding - intricate Saris, colorful turbans, beautiful Hena markings - all in a week long competition to honor the bride and groom. Take that fantastic formula and add in the fact that this wedding is that of the handsome Prince Shivraj Singh of Jodhpur and the absolutely exquisite Princess Gayatri Kumari. These two are the heirs to an 800 year old kingdom and their guests some of the most distinguished and well off people in the world. The potential for amazing fashion was HUGE and let's just say that the pictures prove that this was as epic as anyone could ever imagine. I had to share  - so check out how they do it on the other side of the world below. Beautiful!
