FOR ALL OF YOU FOUR-EYED BEAUTIES...

DON'T LIMIT YOUR FASHION TO YOUR NECK DOWN.

SARAH SILVERMAN WEARING THE NERD TREND

Heck no. Let's focus on one of the most important features a sister's got... your eyes. Eyeglasses can be one of the coolest and chicest accessories you own so please don't disregard this post. It's incredibly important that you pick a frame that flatters your face and also fulfills the fashionable quotient.

VINTAGE CHRISTIAN LACROIX OPTICAL GLASSES, $300 BUY HERE

For those of us with long, angular faces, a wide lens with a cat eye or a square/oval frame looks best. Something that widens your face and doesn't bring it down.
OLIVER PEOPLES' OPTICAL GLASSES, $315 BUY HERE
If you have a petite, sweet-as-apple-pie little round face, try a smaller frame. Something circular with a bit of a wayfarer vibe. Tres chic. A pop of color in the frame will make them that much cooler.

Rectangular frames are also a sight for sore eyes... Hardy har. Wear them if you have long, flowing, enviable hair like the under 30 set in Hollywood and portray an "I'm smarter than I look" kind of vibe. I jest. Sort of.

CHANEL AVAILABLE AT DR. NICK GUITERREZ

Those of you who have a face made like an angel (you know who you are), you can try one of the hottest new optical trends, the nerd specs. Typically with a secretarial vibe to them and usually in a dark acetate or tortoiseshell. Sort of sexy in a really nerdy way and definitely fashion-forward.

If you want to try some of these bad boys on here in town, check out my eye doctor, Dr. Nick Guiterrez. Tell him I sent you!
