H TO THE M

H&M: REFUGE FOR THE FASHIONABLE, BUT THE POOR.

Okay, that might be an exaggeration. Let's just say the frugal fashionista can rest her weary paycheck in the comforting arms of this store. H&M is truly one of the greatest finds this side of the Mississippi. If you're reading this post and have never stepped foot in one, well, I'm sorry. People, it's time to go shopping because H&M has many an option and for ridiculous prices (and by ridiculous, I mean tagged at $29.99, ridiculous). Founded in Sweden in 1947 (!), it was primarily a women's clothing store. By March 2000, H&M had branded itself across all fashion categories and had opened its first store in the U.S. H&M's accurate motto? "Fashion and quality at the best price." Amen.

Men, women, kids... no one is left out of this bargain-style haven. With recent campaigns, featuring such top models as Stella Tennant, H&M has touched a whole new level of the fashion population. Check out their website for a store nearest you (H&M).

H&M HOLIDAY 2010 CAMPAIGN AD
My favorite blazer, which I purchased at the San Francisco H&M two years ago, is gray with these tremendous shoulder pads and double-breasted with black buttons. I get complimented on it literally everywhere I go. People fall to the floor when I tell them I purchased it at H&M for 30 bucks. It's true. Now, go forth and enjoy the wealth of knowledge I have bestowed upon you.

Again, you're welcome.

  1. You're welcome... for stating the obvious. News of H&M has managed to seep through the walls of this cowtown.
